Twilight Path to Solitude

This is my most satisfying work so far, because it seems to be nothing, but it expresses a lot of emotions I want to express, mystery, depth, tolerance, quietness, solitude away from the hustle and bustle and blooming alone in the dark of confidence. There is nothing novel in the subject matter and composition of the picture, and even the colors are not very eye-catching. They are mainly dark colors, but I spent a lot of thought trying to complete this painting. There are many layers in the picture, near real and far virtual, near warm and far cold, near thick and far thin, near deep and far shallow, all the painting methods deliberately widen the space of the picture, so that the viewer's eyes can follow the dense meadow. The mountains and woods extend to the back of the frame. If you look carefully at the woods, you can also see the layers. A few small trees stand faintly in the front of the woods, while the large trees with leafy branches are further back. In addition to the sense of space, the contrast in this painting is also key to making it more attractive. The light soaring into the sky behind the distant mountains may be city lights, or it may be raging mountain fires, but no matter what it is, it is full of energy, full of movement, full of uncertainty, and is formed by the silence, deepness, and tolerance of the meadow in front. A sharp contrast, as if this calmness can abandon all the noise. The tree in the middle of the picture connects the near and far pictures. I deliberately did not depict the details of the leaves, but only used loose brushstrokes to reflect the shape and light and dark of the crown, making the tree look very leisurely and free. Although there is a large area of dark color in the picture, I did not use black directly. Instead, I used different warm and cold tones to create different hues of black to increase the transparency of the picture. After painting this painting, I suddenly realized that it doesn't matter what I paint, but the most important thing is to create a high-end painting.
